Adobe has announced the launch of Creative Cloud Express, a new platform designed for users that have never used Adobe before. As per the company, Adobe has reached critical mass with its professional suite and they plan to expand to a wider customer base who have never used Adobe applications in past.
Adobe CC Express is designed to keep the workflow fast and easy using a gamut of web and mobile applications. It uses the power of Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator but without the complexities involved with these apps. The whole idea is to make it available for creators who have little or no experience in using these apps.
The interface is very simple and uses drag and drop functionality. It is supported by astounding 20,000 premium fonts from Adobe. It is a paid app with Free trial option. Free users get acces of millions of Adobe Stock assets. With paid version, users get access to atleast 75 million assets, which Adobe says, will keep getting regularly updated with new assets.
The CC Express has something called “Quick Actions” which will help user to remove background from photos, trim and merge videos, create GIFs from videos and even convert docs to PDF in simple steps.
CC Express has large number of templates to help users start with a ready design. It is a cloud based app and is supported both on web and mobile apps.
It seems Adobe is always trying to respond to another popular app/software. Adobe introduced AI based features in Photoshop and Lightroom after the huge popularity of Luminar and this new launch of CC Express is apparently inspired by the success of PicsArt and Canva.
