Just a few days back we at THC had announced the probable features of GoPro Hero10 and GoPro has already announced the launch of its much touted action camera Hero10 Black.
The new Hero10 Black features a lrger 23 Megapixel sensor and a much improved sensor to deliver a 5.3K video at 60fps. It can also shoot a 4K video at 120 frames per second.
Exactly in line with the leaked features its has an upgraded processor which is aimed at delivering high quality images and videos at higher frame rates. Thenka to the new GP2 processor, even the user interface is set to become much faster and responsive.
The Hero10 Black also promises a much better low light performance. Now you can virtually pull video stills of much higher resolution – 19.6MP from 5K 4:3 video (30fps) and 15.8MP video stills from 5.3K video at 60fps.
The new Hero10 features HyperSmooth 4.0 which is expected to stabilize one of the jerkiest videos. In this the image stabilization feature, the company has improved the tilt limit to 45 degrees from 27 degrees in Hero9.
The Hero10 lets you access images and footage in three different ways. As a first, the camera can upload recent footage to the Cloud Account while the camera is getting charged (works with subscription mode). Second option is to transfer images wirelessly from camera to GoPro Quik app, which is 30% faster than its predecessor. And finally, one can transfer footage using a USB.
The GoPro Hero 10 will be shipped in a ecofriendly re-usable case which is plastic free.
The Hero10 is available with two options: $400 with one year subscription and $500 without subscription.
